Open House days in Nantes, September 24-27, 2009

The Laboratory’s Nantes Centre will open its doors on September 24 through 27, 2009 :

• On Thursday, September 24, by VIP invitation, with a symposium held on the topic : "LCPC and the business world: How to promote the use of innovation"
• On Friday, September 25, open to students by appointment
• On Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, open to the general public

Visitors will be able to discover, during their tourist train ride on a tour of our 150-ha site, our exceptional testing equipment (geotechnical centrifuge, pavement fatigue carrousel, partial reverberation room, road test track, to name a few), as well as our wide array of research projects devoted to topics like sustainable development, natural resource conservation, material durability, transport infrastructure, water and the environment.

A number of scientific exhibitions and demonstrations will be set up to appeal to visitors of all ages, who will be thrilled to share with our researchers, engineers and technicians a passion for civil engineering.
