MARMARA EREGLISI - Liquefied natural
gas import terminal
|
This is a liquefied natural gas
import terminal, with import capacity of 1,100,000 tonnes/year
for three storage tanks and natural gas export capacity
to Turkish supply network of 685,000 normal m3/h, including
:
. A 300-m long offloading jetty with mooring facilities for LNG carriers up to 125,000 m3 capacity.
. A platform equipped with liquid and gas loading arms.
. Three 85,000 m3, double metallic wall tanks (9% Ni-steel and carbon steel) surrounded with a post-tensioned concrete bundwall 5 x 300 m3/h pumping system, 2 x 230,000 normal m3/h vaporizing systems, and compression unit.
. A 24" diameter gas pipe connecting the terminal to the main gas network.
. All control, security/safety, telecommunications and monitoring systems to operate the terminal.
. Production and distribution of utilities.
. Ancillary buildings (offices, workshops, housing) and associated roads.
