A complete liquefied natural gas receiving terminal with a total storage capacity of 700,000 m3 ; including :
. 7 x 100,000 m3, fully-refrigerated, LNG storage tanks ; membrane types.
. A 1,200-m long jetty and a platform equipped with loading arms.
Pumping, vaporizing and compression systems.
. All control, security/safety, telecommunications and monitoring systems to operate the terminal. Production and distribution utilities.
. Ancillary buildings (offices, workshops, housing) and associated roads.
. The LNG is stored at -162 °C, at atmospheric pressure. The seven tanks are membrane-type, including :
. A 45-m high prestressed concrete tank with a reinforced concrete roof incorporating a 60-m diameter steel cupola.
. A rigid PVC-foam internal insulation transmitting liquid pressure to concrete tank.
. A 1.2-mmm thick gas-light stainless steel corrugated membrane, with a 10,000 m2 surface (Technigaz license).
. Internal piping and submerged cryogenic pumps.
